Matthew Archambault

Matt Archambault is a senior commercial revenue executive and revenue translator with more than 20 years of experience architecting revenue systems, partnership ecosystems, and go-to-market strategies across gaming, media, entertainment, and emerging technology. Known for his ability to decode complex community behaviors, audience dynamics, and cross-industry market signals, Matt helps organizations translate these insights into scalable revenue growth, product innovation, and brand impact. He blends high social EQ with deep analytical rigor, giving him a nuanced sense of stakeholder dynamics, enabling him to align diverse teams and build revenue models informed by real data, real audiences, and real commercial opportunities.

Matt currently serves as Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Revenue & Revenue Strategy Lead, at OS Studios, where he is tasked with building the commercial engine that supports the studio’s expansion across categories, regions, and the broader Project Worldwide network. In this role, Matt brings a rare combination of strategic rigor and creative empathy, helping ensure that bold ideas are commercialized thoughtfully and sustainably. His focus spans global revenue strategy, commercial product development, and long-term value creation across platforms, partners, and audiences.

Matt has generated more than $1B in partnership revenue over his career, having built revenue organizations from the ground up, from startup environments to global enterprises. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at GGL, where he led the company’s commercial revenue strategy, built the foundational revenue organization across multiple verticals and media, secured the company’s first revenue-positive partnerships, and contributed to successful fundraising through data-driven projections and business case development.

Previously, Matt spent six years at Riot Games, serving as Head of Commercial Partnerships for the Americas & Oceania. In this role, he directed revenue strategy across four international regions (NA, LATAM, Brazil, and Oceania) for League of Legends, VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift esports. He held full P&L ownership for multiple professional leagues, established the company’s commercial operating framework, and managed and scaled teams across Los Angeles, Mexico City, São Paulo, and Sydney, Australia. During his tenure, Matt delivered record-breaking revenue, secured Riot’s first worldwide corporate brand partnership, led the largest partnership deal in Global LoL esports history, unified regional commercial teams, and helped define the global commercialization strategy for Riot’s competitive products.

Across roles at Riot Games, GGL, Tubi TV, BBC Worldwide, We Are The Mighty, Newsweek, and early-stage technology ventures, Matt has earned a reputation for building revenue architecture that withstands market inflection points. His work spans brand partnerships, commercial productization, OTT and streaming monetization, programmatic innovation, data strategy, talent and creator ecosystems, and multi-regional GTM execution. Having operated as both an IC and a senior executive across multiple industries, he brings a uniquely holistic lens to evaluating markets, interpreting audience behavior, and structuring revenue systems that bridge agencies, publishers, platforms, brands, and creator communities.

A believer in the power of data-guided decision-making, Matt develops commercial models grounded in insights rather than purely intuition. He is known for turning ambiguity into structure, emerging categories into monetizable systems, and cross-functional groups into aligned revenue organizations. His ability to translate across sectors—gaming, sports, media, technology, entertainment, and creator ecosystems—makes him an indispensable strategic partner to CEOs, founders, investors, and product leaders navigating rapidly evolving markets.

Matt has been a guest lecturer at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, a recurring guest on the Business of Esports podcast, and a speaker at PAX, ESTA, Sports Business Journal events, and other gaming and sports business forums. He holds a BSBA in Marketing with a minor in Economics from Villanova University and continues to serve as a mentor, advisor, and thought leader for next-generation revenue and commercial leaders.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Matt’s interests reflect the same curiosity and global perspective that define his career. He spent part of his early childhood in Nairobi, Kenya, an experience that helped shape his appreciation for different cultures and ways of thinking. An avid golfer, he also enjoys cooking, traveling, and exploring new places. Having lived across the East Coast, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Africa, Matt brings a multicultural sensibility and adaptable mindset to both his personal and professional life.
